I am a 41 year old woman who has been working with seniors in a hearing clinic for 2 1/2 years and, surprise, I am madly in love with them. I am NOT medically trained (beyond an expired CPR certificate - but I know basic CPR and have been trained three times over the years). But I am gentle, have a VERY clear and loud voice (when required), am patient, and know how to help the elderly feel they haven't lost their dignity, even in an undignified situation (i.e. the bathroom or dressing or being fed, etc.) I'd be happy to hang with your old folk while you go out for the evening or go grocery shopping etc.
