Mint Green, 1954 Antique Sewing Machine (Working Condition)

Share |

Hello! I'm willing to swap this beautiful 1954 mint-green antique Singer sewing machine - it's the Green Singer 185J model (for a complete review, see here - 2011/07/06/green-singer-185j-sewing-machine-a-review/ - it's not my blog, but it gives a good synopsis of the machine, its capabilities).

This machine is in good working condition with ALL original Singer parts (including original light bulb, belt and case). The light works, and there are no cracks or significant wear marks on the electrical cord. I got this machine with the intention of sewing more, but I haven't gotten around to using it much - looking forward to passing it along to someone who will really love it! It's a gem.

It's a full metal body (which means it's heavy!) - needs to oiled occasionally, but otherwise a really easy machine to maintain (it's not a true industrial machine, but has that feel).
