SwapSity Swap Meet & Garage Sale

It's finally here! SwapSity will be hosting a Swap Meet on Saturday August 29th from 1:30pm-5:30pm in downtown Toronto. Keep useful things out of landfills, find new treasures, free yourself from the clutter and have tons of fun trading! This green event will bring savvy swappers, garage sale fans, eco-enthusiasts, parents and thrifty shoppers together, under one roof. Hold your own garage sale or browse what others have to offer for barter or sale. With both swapping and selling taking place, it will be the ultimate garage sale and swap meet rolled into one. You can even give things away for free. It doesn't get any better than that!

Use this opportunity to hold a moving sale without the need of promoting it yourself. Empty the attic and garage and meet other bargain hunters face-to-face. You can bring virtually anything to the swap meet: household items, clothes, accessories, collector items, arts & crafts, books, movies, CDs, electronics, technology, video games and much more. There will be a section dedicated exclusively for parents wanting to trade kids' items such as clothes, books, toys, games, baby stuff or family videos. Even skills and services are fair game. There are over 50 booths at the event. If you want to reserve a table for your own garage sale, remember to purchase your tickets in advance. They are selling out! If you simply want to browse the items, just register for free and simply show up with $2 payable at the door. You may even bring a few things for swap/sale along with you. Also, be sure to bring a reusable bag to carry home the treasures you find!

• Tables:If you want to have your own garage sale, please purchase a garage sale ticket early. They are selling out!


• Ticket Prices:
• Tickets can be purchased online , the following options are available:
• Small Garage Sale ($5.00):Rental of a small and shared table for 2 hours
• Large Garage Sale($9.00): Rental of a large and private table for 2 hours
• Ultimate Small Garage Sale($10.00): Rental of a small and shared table for 4 hours
• Ultimate Garage Sale($16.00): Rental of a large and private table for 4 hours

General admission is included in the small, large or ultimate garage sale fee. The large tables are 65 by 28 inches. The small table is half the size and is shared with another person. You can reserve the tables for 2 hours from 1:30pm-3:30pm or 3:30pm-5:30pm or 4 hours 1:30pm-5:30pm. You will be able to set up your table at 1:15pm for the early sale and 3:30pm for the later one. Admission and garage sale tickets need to be purchased in advance. There is a limited number of tables, so please book early if you wish to have a table to showcase your items or skills. You will need to agree to the liability waiver to attend the event. We will not be selling garage sale tickets at the door. All details are clearly outlined when you purchase the ticket.

• How to Buy Garage Sale Tickets:
• Step 1: Click Buy Ticket
• Step 2: Read waiver and click Agree or Disagree
• Step 3: Upon clicking Agree, you will be directed to the ticketing page
• Step 4: Select your desired ticket, enter your name and email
• Step 5: Pay by Credit Card or PayPal.


• You will receive a receipt and your ticket in your mailbox. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes. We will email all registered attendees a few days before the event with tips and updates. As long as your full name is on our event list, you do not need to print a ticket from your email account.


• Payment Options: You can make a payment via Credit Card or through your PayPal account. Payment is handled securely on PayPal's site. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card. More details in our FAQs. Please contact us if you need any help.


• Paying for Tables in Cash: We will only accept table reservations in person if 1) you guarantee that you are coming, 2) provide your full name, phone number and email contact. Table reservations should be made online. If you really cannot pay online, please email us to be considered for cash payment.
